Nutritious halal products will suit hectic lifestyle

DUBAI: Under its new banner, Al Islami Foods has recently launched fresh sandwiches to cater to the growing demand for ready-to-eat meals in the region. The fresh sandwiches, which are available across selected ENOC/EPPCO stores in Dubai and outlets in Sharjah, will offer customers a healthy yet tasty way to satisfy an empty stomach.

Dramatic changes in eating habits have resulted in increased consumption of unhealthy fast food over the past few years. This trend encouraged Al Islami to focus on providing nutritious and convenient options for the modern lifestyle. A leading provider of quality Halal products, Al Islami's latest offering strictly conforms to Halal standards.

Mustafa Jassem, Demand Manager at Al Islami Foods stated, "The ready-to-eat sector has vast potential for growth, and we are confident that our healthy Halal products will exceed our customers' high expectations."

The fresh sandwiches come in seven different combinations including 'Chicken Fillet Engage', 'Egg and Cheese Treat' and 'Tuna Nudge'. The diverse menu also includes items such as 'Chicken Fajita Delicious', 'Smooth Start', 'Chicken Mayo Fulfill' and 'Triple Breakfast Start'. Priced between 7-10 Dhs., these delicious sandwiches are available at EPPCO and ENOC Stations as well as leading supermarkets across the country.

Highlighting the benefits of their sandwiches, Jassem added, "Our commitment to delivering high quality products which meet the demands of our customers is reflected in our latest offering. Made from the finest ingredients, the extremely nutritional Halal sandwiches are available in a variety of combinations to suit all tastes".

Halal foods have gained popularity for the hygienic methods employed in their production as well as the health benefits these products offer their consumers. With their fresh sandwiches, award-winning Al Islami Foods continues to make progress in an industry it has dominated for the past decade.

About Al Islami Foods
Established as CO-OP ISLAMI in 1981 to satisfy the growing demand for real Halal food in the Arab world, AL ISLAMI FOODS was formed as a result of the long relentless efforts commenced in the early seventies when Hajj Saeed Bin Ahmad Lootah instituted Dubai Co-operative Society. Starting with its successful frozen chicken product line, AL ISLAMI FOODS expanded its operations to include mutton and beef.

In 1991, Dubai Co-operative Society's efforts were culminated by establishing its "CO-OP ISLAMI" meat processing plant in Jebel Ali Free Zone. This plant is considered a recognizable breakthrough as it became the real producer of a variety of food products under the name "CO-OP ISLAMI", after being produced outside the country on its behalf. AL ISLAMI FOODS products are considered as quality benchmark trusted by consumers across the UAE and the GCC, which has made it one of the best and most preferred brands in the region.
