Muscat, 25 February: Huge crowds thronged the Markaz Al Bahja grounds, where 120 mind riveting cars came together to compete at the 'Al Bahja Auto Show' Competition. Sponsored by Markaz Al Bahja, Oman's premium one-stop fun-shopping solution and IFA Design, the 'Al Bahja Auto Show' competition and the Remote Controlled car competition turned out to be a spectacular contest for all the car lovers who took great pride in showing their mean machines off. The event was organised by the Oman Subaru Team on the 21st of February and attended by over a thousand car enthusiasts.

On the success of the event the second time around, Faisal Al Balushi - Assistant Manager at Markaz Al Bahja Mall commented, "The contest continues to get better each time, drawing more contestants and more drama, given the event a new blasting finale".

The auto display program at the grounds behind the Markaz Al Bahja Mall included special trophies for the cars on display judged on various aspects such as the best looking car, the best stereo system, the best seating arrangement, the most spacious car, and much more. New categories of prizes this year also included an early entrant prize and more. "Dozens of potential nominees weighed in during the final selection process for all the categories. The judges from the Oman Subaru Team considered vehicles on several fronts. With the Car Show program, we ensure to make the winners stand out as exceptional examples of innovation and style. "Newness" is an important factor."

Additionally, added features to the event this time were the remote controlled car competition for participants and a free style dance competition to the tunes of DJ JAM and master of ceremony, Marquex which was organised by Sultan Al-Abdali.
