Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) has partnered with Arab Orient Insurance, part of the Al Futtaim Group, to provide ADCB credit card holders with comprehensive Purchase Protection and Credit Shield insurance policies
The benefits of the association will come into effect shortly and customers can call the Al Murshid Contact Center 800 2030 for further information.

The main features of the Purchase Protection policy ensures that any purchase made using an ADCB credit card is fully insured for 90 days from the date of purchase. In addition, regardless of where the purchase was made or if it is lost or damaged, it would still be covered under the protection plan. The policy details range depending on the card type. Regular, or classic credit cards, are covered for upto $ 1,000, Gold credit cards $ 2,000 and Platinum credit cards $ 4,000.
Credit Shield offers high levels of protection. In the unlikely event of death, permanent disability, involuntary loss of employment or critical illness outstanding credit card amounts would be waived up to the following limits: Regular, or classic, credit cards are covered for up to Dh 50,000, Gold Dh 75,000 and Platinum Dh 100,000. In addition to this the card members enjoy life insurance cover for same amounts.
Both insurance products are available to all current and new card members. Purchase Protection is available at no additional cost while Credit Shield is subject to a nominal 30 fils for each Dh 100 outstanding on the card.
