Abu Dhabi National Takaful Co. P.S.C "Takaful" has been recognized as one of the best insurance companies in the Middle East region, having ranked second on the list of "Top Executive Management in the Arab World 2012" within the insurance sector. This was announced at the Forbes Middle East CEOs Forum, held at the Atlantis, The Palm, from November 5-7, 2012.
The purpose of the listing was to evaluate the performance of Middle East companies based on their disclosed financial statements. It was also one of its main objectives to highlight the distinguished leadership of CEOs that have carried the regions' most viable companies through and beyond challenging financial times.
Takaful was selected from among 324 companies representing 11 sectors in the Middle East markets. The criteria for the selection process which was carried out by independent financial experts included return on shareholders' equity for 2011, profit growth rate per share, asset growth rate, and market value growth rate based on the share's closing value as on December 31 of each year. Based on these criteria, Takaful ranked second on the list of most effective executive management reflecting outstanding financial performance in the insurance industry.

This is the third accolade that Takaful has received this year. In July, it was proclaimed the 'Best Bancatakaful Operator Middle East' at the International Takaful Awards 2012 in London. That was followed closely by winning the Takaful Operator of the Year 2012 at the 9th INSUREX Middle East Insurance Awards that were held on October 9th, 2012 at The Westin Mina Seyahi Hotel in Dubai, UAE.
