ABANA's RS85 is a document sorter designed, engineered and built in Italy for a wide range of back office A6 documents management. The RS85 is the top choice for small, medium, wide banks, financial institutions, remittance processors, insurance companies, government agencies or any other companies with low- to mid-volume daily check/remittance processing needs.
The RS85 is a full function, scan image table top based device capable of operating at 200 documents per minute (dpm) capturing endorsing and sorting the documents treated. The system is simple to use, robust, easy to access and to service and very versatile: conceived as a check processor for banking and remittance applications, it is equally at home in any application that can benefit from scanning, code line reading, stamping, endorsing, encoding, imaging and sorting.
RS85's main strength comes from being modular, compact and flexible with a robust design engineered to top performance and easy-to-use operator interfaces. The capacity of the basic unit can be extended by adding up to 5 extra sorting modules. This will allow the user to have up to 48 pockets, permitting him to sort the processed document in really wide range of options.
Depending upon processing requirements and document size the RS 85 can achieve throughput rates of up to 100 documents per minute at low speed and 200 at high speed.
