Dubai, February 23, 2010: A W Rostamani Logistics, joint venture of AW Rostamani Holding in Dubai, Mitsui & Co and Mitsui-Soko, Japan officially inaugurated its new warehouse in the South Zone of the Jebel Ali Free Zone recently.
The new 46,000 square metre facility which includes 21,000 square metres of covered cargo area and over 15,000 pallet positions, hosts a new management system allowing barcode control and set up rack services.
A W Rostamani Logistics specialises in logistics and distribution, warehousing, freight forwarding, customs clearance, shipping and container freight station service and trading. Established in 1997, the company is the primary logistics partner to the Dubai metro project as well.
The inauguration of the warehouse was hosted by the Chairman and Vice Chairman of AW Rostamani, together with Japanese partners Mitsui & Co and Mitsui-Soko Company and Jafza officials.
"The inauguration of this new facility has marked the next chapter in our company's growth," commented Managing Director Mr.Hajime Ogawa. "We look forward to providing a full tour of the warehouse to partners and Jafza officials during the opening ceremony."
