A Delegation from King Saud University Attends a Training Session in Riyadh House Est. Showroom
Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Jeraisy Requests Training Of University Students before Graduation
A group of more than twenty students, representing King Saud University (KSU), Led by Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Science Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Bassam, completed yesterday a practical training in Riyadh House showroom here in Riyadh where they have been introduced to the elements of actual work within companies.
On the other hand, Sheik Abdul Rahman Al Jeraisy, Chairman of Saudi Chambers of Commerce addressed the students emphasizing the importance of qualifications and know-how and urged them to accept any available work in order to gain enough experience prior to their graduation and thus qualify themselves to join ranks of work immediately on graduation without any waiting.
Further, he requested Saudi Universities in general and practical faculties in particular to start drawing schedules for on site visits to national companies and other facilities in coordination with businesspersons in private sector.
He also emphasized that it was of utmost importance for students to be patient, diligent, and persistent if they were keen to develop themselves and be beneficial to their homeland. Moreover, he added in the meeting attended by student advisors of KSU that all prominent businesspersons in this country were self made and relied only on their love for their country and a strong quest to succeed in business and proof themselves. He also stressed that there were wide openings for innovation in work for all and that these openings are calling for Saudi talents.
KSU team has been trained on total solutions for offices, information security in work environment, video conferencing. Students have also been briefed on the latest technologies in computer, telecommunication and language laboratories.
