Dubai, United Arab Emirates - The 3rd Dubai International Horse Fair (DIHF) will be opening tomorrow on 1 April 2007, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and Industry.

To experience the four-day Dubai International Horse Fair, visit Hall 1 and Zabeel Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre between 11:00am and 7:00pm on the 1 April and between 2:00pm and 9:00pm on 2, 3 and 4 April.

The DIHF has enjoyed tremendous success in the past as the largest exhibition for equestrian equipment, services and care products in the Middle East. This year promises to be even more impressive with 161 international and 52 locally represented companies participating and displaying the latest products, services and technologies for the equine industry.

Gathering exhibitors around the world from 27 countries, DIHF will also play host to an official pavilion from the United Kingdom. Organised by BETA, the British Equestrian Trade Association, the UK pavilion will bring together 14 companies including Horse Weigh, John Whitaker and Horse and Rider Medics.

Claire Williams, Executive Director, BETA, says "We are looking forward to another successful show with a number of new companies attending for the first time in order to develop new markets throughout the Middle East. We feel that the Dubai International Horse Fair, timed in April, is the best platform if you are serious about the market."

At DIHF this year, in addition to the exhibition, professionals can take advantage of the various seminars and demonstrations conducted by experts from across the region at the event, as well as participate in the Arabian horse auction by Al Faisal Stud. Veterinarians will also benefit tremendously from the half-day Veterinarian Networking Session to be held on 1 April.

Additional features, displays, a fascinating equine art exhibition, race simulations, riding lessons, and the exciting Dubai International Arabic Horse Championship competition showcase, will attract even those not directly related to the equine industry to this year's DIHF.

While the Dubai International Horse Fair is open to the general public, individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Dubai International Horse Fair 2007 will be held in Hall 1 and Zabeel Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC). The event will take place from 1 - 4 April 2007 and Opening Hours are 11:00 - 19:00 on 1 April, and 14:00 - 21:00 on 2 - 4 April. Admission to DIHF is free of charge, and open to both trade and general public. All persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
