Dubai, United Arab Emirates - The all-new 2009 Cadillac CTS-V, the most powerful vehicle ever from Cadillac, is set to enter Middle East markets in the fourth quarter of 2008. With the power to accelerate from 0-100 kph in less than four seconds, CTS-V is one of the world's fastest sedans. Combining the performance of a sports car with the poise of a luxury sedan, the CTS-V also includes some elegant and purposeful accents, both inside and out.
The 2009 CTS-V takes the award-winning CTS sport sedan and elevates it to a position within the club of the world's most exclusive and capable cars, with its new supercharged 6.2L V-8 engine set to deliver 556 hp at 6100 rpm and 747 Nm at 3800 rpm of torque. With this, it presents the best of both worlds - supercharged power and superior refinement.
The new CTS-V combines spirited performance with the poise and elegance of a prestigious luxury sedan. The exterior amplifies the assertive stance and elegant details, communicating the car's remarkable capabilities. The dihedral Cadillac grille is larger to enable more air intake and features a satin finish.
The CTS-V offers a luxurious and purposeful interior in a remarkable blend of dramatic design, technology and craftsmanship. Cadillac's hallmark cut-and- sew interiors features prominently in the CTS-V's hand-stitched instrument panel, door trim and center console. Leading-edge infotainment features include: a 40-gigabyte hard drive; advanced navigation system with a "pop-up" screen; Bose digital surround audio and factory-installed Bluetooth capability.
The CTS-V includes many technical enhancements, including Magnetic Ride Control, an industry-first Performance Traction Management Program and the addition of a new automatic transmission with paddle-shift control.
"The CTS-V provides an absolute luxury driving experience across a whole range of conditions. With its powerful performance and unique refinement, the CTS-V has all it takes to capture the hearts and minds of discerning customers in the Middle East." says Adib Takieddine, Marketing Manager for Cadillac in the Middle East.
The powerful 2009 Cadillac CTS-V is being offered outside North America for the first time, and the Middle East market is bracing itself for it.
