Sharjah: The special Al Majaz Amphitheatre production ‘1001 Nights: The Last Chapter’, which will officially inaugurate the year-long celebrations of Sharjah as the UNESCO World Book Capital for 2019 on April 23, will employ the latest audio-visual technologies masterfully to take the audience on a unique fairytale journey.
The live show – available simultaneously in three languages, Arabic, English and French, via headphones -- utilises the latest technology to create stunning 3D scenes which the audience will be able to view from all corners of Al Majaz Amphitheatre.
The massive production required around 5km of electrical cabling and uses 80 audio speakers strategically placed throughout the theatre to create an unmatched soundscape. Around 250 mobile lights will create an incomparable visual experience for the audience.
The show will debut at 9.00pm on April 23 and run till April 27, with one show daily at Al Majaz Amphitheatre.
