Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profits after zakat and tax of National Gypsum Company declined by 13.187% to SAR 19.88 million during the first six months of 2021, compared to SAR 22.9 million in the same period of 2020.

The company's revenues decreased by 11.296% to SAR 46.88 million in the first half (H1) of 2021 from SAR 52.85 million in the year-ago period, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.

The earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 0.63 in the January-June period of 2021, versus SAR 0.72 in the corresponding period of the previous year.

During the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, the company's net profits increased by 9.65% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 5.68 million.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, the company's net profit after Zakat and tax decreased 19.8% YoY to SAR 14.19 million from SAR 17.71 million in the same period a year ago.
