Qatar - The Qatar Electricity and Water Company has reported a 3% year-on-year increase in net profit to QR401mn in the first three months of this year.

The company reported a 17% year-on-year growth in revenue to QR658mn in the first quarter ended March 31.

Operating profits amounted to QR339mn in January-March compared to QR332mn during the same period in 2022.

Total assets stood at QR24.88bn in the first quarter of this year. Net debt of the company stood at QR3.2bn in the review period.
