The benchmark index EGX30 increased 0.90% and closed at 13,937 points while the small and medium-sized enterprises index EGX70 inched down 0.06% to close at 529 points and the broader index EGX100 went rise 0.12% to close at 1,391 points.
Trading volume reached 119 million shares, with a total value of EGP 2.180 billion over 16,665 trades. Market capitalization amounted to EGP 703.07 billion.
Today, the gainers reached 58 companies of the total listed stocks (163), while decliners were 59 companies, and unchanged were amounting to 46 companies.
Egyptian investors made 68.02% of today's action, while Arab investors recorded 9.6% and foreign investors made 22.38%.
Foreigner investors were net buyers by EGP 46 million, while Arab and Egyptian investors were net sellers by EGP 37 million and EGP 8.7 million, respectively.
Individuals made 44.88% of trades, versus 55.11% by Institutions.

Moreover, the volume leaders were led by Palm Hills (PHDC) which drop 2.33% to close at EGP 1.77, with 26 million shares in volume.
Porto Group (PORT) came second, rising 0.17% to close at EGP 0.60, with 11 million shares in volume.
This was followed by Qalaa Holdings (CCAP) that increased 1.25% to close at EGP 2.43, with 8 million shares in volume.
Arabia Investment Holding (AIND) came next and inched up 0.69% to close at EGP 0.29 with 8 million shares in volume, followed by Orascom Investment Holding (OIH) that edged up 0.18% to close at EGP 0.55, with 6 million shares in volume.
