Dubai: Zepp Labs, a leader in sports technology, is offering the world’s first app-powered, multi-sport sensor for golf and tennis players in the UAE.

The Zepp multi-sport sensor attaches to the handle of any tennis racket or mounts to any golf glove and works with the free Zepp Golf and Tennis apps to instantly capture and deliver data to your smartphone or tablet by Bluetooth.

Zepp’s sensor contains a rugged rubber exterior and a shock resistant core, multiple motion sensors, a powerful ARM processor, with eight hours of battery life.

All of this is packed into a one-inch square sensor that is less than half an inch thick and weighs just 6.3 grams.

“Zepp has changed the way we play sport. With great new features like video analysis and a personalised app, both amateur and professional players can train, improve and maintain their performance using the training platform. We aim to revolutionise the experience for everyone who plays these sports,” said Jason Fass, Chief Executive Officer of Zepp Labs.

He said that Zepp works closely with coaches and pro players like ATP World Tour Pro Milos Raonic and PGA Tour Pro Keegan Bradley to deliver elite-level training content, training tips and drills right in the app.

Zepp Tennis instantly delivers analysis from a practice session or match so players can focus on and measure three main areas of play — Intensity, Consistency, and Power. These metrics offer players and coaches a data-driven, scientific way to evaluate performance on the court, and in-app training videos for guided improvement.

Zepp Golf analyses user swings in 360-degrees and gives instant feedback and measures the most critical aspects of the swing like club-head speed, club plane, tempo, and more. It also delivers powerful video analysis tools to watch pro swings from different angles, capture their own swing on video, and compare swings side-by-side.

The Zepp sensor easily attaches to any golf glove or tennis racket and captures over 1,000 data points per second, and wirelessly sends that info to your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth after every swing.

Zepp is distributed by K2O in the Middle East and is priced at Dh599.
