Kuwait has announced a five-day-long Eid Al Adha holiday starting from August 19, Kuna reported on Monday.
The Eid Al Adha holiday will begin on August 19, a Sunday, and end on August 23, a Thursday, Kuwait's cabinet announced on Monday. Those who have Friday-Saturday as weekend will be able to enjoy a nine-day break, counting August 17-18 (Fri-Sat) and August 24-25 (Fri-Sat).
The council noted that the work in ministries and government institutes will suspend work during the entire period.
