MANAMA: Mosques across Bahrain will be reopened for Asr (afternoon) prayers starting today, the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry has said.

The reopening is based on the decision of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs regarding the gradual resumption of collective prayers amid the full application of preventive health measures.

Mosques in Bahrain will now be open for Fajr (Dawn), Dhuhr (Noon) and Asr prayers.
