Muscat – Temperatures have risen across Oman in the past few days, with the mercury crossing 46°C in several parts of the sultanate.

According to the Met office, Suhar and Mahout recorded the highest temperature of 46.3°C in the last 24 hours. Zamaim, Fahud, and Quriyat recorded temperatures ranging from 46.2°C to 46.1°C, while Rustaq, Samail, and Maqshin experienced temperatures between 45.6°C and 45.3°C.
