AMMAN — The Kuwaiti Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs on Sunday sent donations to the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) to purchase medical equipment, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

According to a KHCF statement, the donations, which were handed by the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Aziz Daihani, came within the strategic partnership with Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs believes in the importance of providing medical equipment that has a fundamental role in saving the lives of patients at the centre, read the statement.

KHCF Director-General Nisreen Qatamish expressed thanks to Kuwait for providing various forms of support to the KHCF.

Qatamish praised the role of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Awqaf in supporting the foundation's mission in the fight against cancer and providing comprehensive healthcare for patients.
