Qatar and China on Monday have signed a final agreement concerning the mutual exemption of entry visa for citizens of both countries.

Both Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi inked the agreement on the sidelines of Al Muraikhi visit to China.

Both parties discussed developing diplomatic relations and their mutual cooperation in all fields.

It is worth noting that Qatar granted visa-free entry for citizens of 80 countries in August 2018, as a step to make Qatar the most open country in the region.
