Oman - Driving instructors in Oman shall now be fined for misconduct during the lessons.
Times of Oman said that a fine of OMR35 (D333.89) will be imposed on the instructors who are occupied with other things while providing driving lessons.
The instructor can also receive one blank point on driving licence.The rule comes into effect from March 1, 2018.
"If the driving instructor is occupied with something other than teaching, they will be fined OMR35 and will receive one black point on their licence," Royal Oman Police said.
Besides, the instructors not dressed in formal Omani attire will be fined OMR10 and receive one black point.
