AMMAN — The Chinese embassy in Amman on Tuesday said that Jordanian citizens wishing to travel to China are exempted from the immunoglobulin antibodies (IgM) test temporarily, until it is available in the Kingdom.

In a statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the embassy said that the decision comes to enable Jordanians to board planes and travel directly to China.

If Jordanian travellers transit thought a third country, they must conduct the IgM test, append it with the rest of needed medical checks and hand it over to the Chinese embassy or consulate in the country of transit to obtain the medical certificate and continue the trip to China, the statement added.
