After 72 hours of suspension of electronic services in the Ministry of Justice, the system was reinstated and transactions were carried out as usual, reports Al-Rai daily. An official source at the Ministry of Justice told the daily the technical glitch experienced by part of the electronic system in some departments affiliated with the ministry was a result of updating the system and adding protective programs, in addition to the huge amount of transactions carried out by those departments called on the ministry to update and develop them make the system faster in completing the transactions.

The source denied hacking was the reason the system was down, loss or manipulation of data, stressing that the ministry has protection for its systems and preserves the data of citizens and residents, which makes it safe from any penetration or loss of information saved in backup copies that are updated daily.
