The Ministry of Interior called on residents to be wary of fraudulent messages sent on social media apps.

In a brief statement issued on social media on Monday, the MoI alerted the public about responding to WhatsApp messages claiming to block ATM cards.

MoI urged the public to always pay attention to the source of the message - whether it's authentic or not.
