Saudi Arabia has launched the "Digital Giving" initiative aimed at spreading digital knowledge among Arab communities around the world.
The initiative, launched by Communications and Information Technology Minister Engineer Abdullah bin Amer Al Sawah, is one of the largest specialised initiatives of its kind worldwide.
It highlights Saudi Arabia's leading role in serving the Arab and Islamic nations and the tremendous development witnessed in the field of communication and information technology, a Saudi Press Agency report said.
The launch was held during a ceremony organised by the ministry in the presence of Minister of Labor and Social Development Engineer Ahmed Al-Rajhi and a number of officials.
All professionals, those interested in technology, the non-profit sector and all members of the community can participate in the Digital Giving initiative. More information is available at: http://attaa.sa/
