Egypt will value the state assets offered for sale to investors in either US dollars or Egyptian pounds depending on each case separately, Asharq Business reported, citing an official.

Deciding upon the currency while valuing the state assets represents a hurdle in the country’s path to secure foreign currency from its Gulf allies and others to push forward its economy amid the current global economic crisis following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
