Muscat: The Ministry of Manpower has dealt with more than 3,000 calls during last month.
A statement issued online by the Ministry of Manpower said: "The call centre at the Ministry of Manpower received 3,771 calls during last May for a number of different issues that represent the sectors the Ministry is responsible for. They were dealt with, inquiries were answered, notes taken and calls transferred to the relevant departments to take the necessary action and follow-up. "
The Ministry also said, "817 calls were releated to labour complaints, 656 calls related to laws and regulations and 694 calls were regarding technical challenges facing the beneficiaries of electronic services."
"The number of calls related to licenses reached 603, 410 calls were on topics related to job opportunities and 109 calls were reports against violators."
