His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik conferred the Oman Civil Order – 1st Class – on Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday. It is the highest Omani order awarded to kings, heads of state, crown princes and heads of governments whose countries share special relations with the sultanate.

The conferment ceremony was followed by an official luncheon hosted by His Majesty the Sultan in honour of Prince Mohammed.

The luncheon was attended by members of the Royal family, chairmen of State Council and Majlis A’Shura and ministers, besides the official delegation accompanying the Saudi Crown Prince.
