KUWAIT -- The price of Kuwaiti oil edged up by USD 4.6 to hit USD 153.22 per barrel (pb) Tuesday, compared to USD 143.04 Monday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Wednesday.

In global markets, the price of Brent crude went up by USD 1.33 to reach USD 103.14 per barrel, as West Texas Intermediate rose by USD 0.79 to USD 97.63 pb.
