ZARAGOZA, Sep. 13th, 2008: The UAE pavilion at the ongoing Expo Zaragoza 2008 continues to catch the eyes of Spanish and international visitors who said live demonstrations and TV shows on the giant screens has successfully presented a nice blend of the past and present of the UAE.
Upon viewing a documentary on the UAE past and present, some Spanish citizens said the UAE has become a modern state in all areas expressing their desire to visit the country "to get a first hand experience of the huge and astonishing boom is taking place."French visitor Sara Kasara said what she saw in the UAE was astounding and changed my view of the country which I thought was backward. "I know now that UAE women are well-educated, cultured and know very well what does high taste means", added Sara. Khadeeja Bint Nes, Moroccan, and Naseera Dhaifallah, Algerian, expressed their admiration at the fast-paced shift of the UAE from life in the arid desert to a modern urban landscape that shows giant steps in the fields of water, renewable energy, tourism and investments.
