KUWAIT -- Deputy Director General of Kuwait Municipality for the Hawally and Mubarak Al-Kabir governorates branch Osama Al-Duaij said here on Tuesday that the regulatory agencies of the branch has issued 316 violations and closed eight shops in Hawalli governorate and seized goods in the Mubarak Al-Kabeer in a month time.
Al-Duaij said in a press statement that these accomplishments were part of the branch's efforts to maintain order and hygiene in the two governorates.
He said that the department of control of food and markets in Hawalli governorate has inspected 508 stores and resulted in some irregularities including the suspension of 21 workers from work due to disease cases.
He added that 36 head of cattle have been destroyed as they were not fit for human consumption.
He pointed out that the branch has removed 294 illegal ads issued 57 violations.
