The number of tourists who visited the region reached 10,542, up about 54.3% compared to the same period last year

Tunisia - A significant increase in tourism figures, including in the numbers of visitors and overnight stays, was recorded in the governorate of Monastir during the month of January 2023 compared to the same period last year, local tourism delegate, Faouez Ben Hlima told TAP Tuesday.

During this period, the number of tourists who visited the region reached 10,542, up about 54.3% compared to the same period last year.

The region also saw a rise in the number of overnight stays, which amounted to 34,473 in January 2023, compared to 21,391 in the same period last year.
