Muscat: Salalah port received a cruise ship carrying 945 passengers including 514 tourists as a part of its tourism program.

The ship is coming from Khorfakan port in the United Arab Emirates and is headed to Safaga port in Egypt. The tourism program for the passengers includes tours that cover the most important tourist and archaeological sites in the Governorate of Dhofar, in addition to visiting the beaches and traditional markets in the Wilayat of Salalah.

It should be noted that the Sultanate annually witnesses many cruise ships as a result of its maritime location overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and the Sea of Oman.
