Beirut (APD) - Riyadh-based National Agricultural Marketing Co. (Thim'ar) announced Wednesday that its unaudited 2005 financial results show a sales increase by 43% to SR 84 million, up from SR 36.12 million in 2004.
Thim'ar realized a pre-Zakat 2005 net profit of SR 10.2 million compared to 2004 pre-Zakat net losses of SR 2.2 million.
Thim'ar's sales for Q4 2005 rose by 33% to reach SR 25.3 million when compared to the same period of 2004. The company recorded SR 2.3 million in net profits compared to a loss of SR 732,000 in 2004.
The company reported SR 269,000 operating losses during the 4th quarter of 2005, marking an 80% decline from operating losses of SR 1.4 million for the same period of 2004.
Shares in Thim'ar recorded a 9.97% increase on Wednesday late afternoon trading at SR 670.25 on a volume of 602,803. [FC-TS]
