Amman -- The Specialty Hospital launched recently the first Arabic Speech Recognition operator system of its kind. Callers will be able to request any doctor or department by simply speaking the name desired. There will no longer be a need to know or look up an extension. This system frees up operators to deal with calls of more urgent and important nature. "This system has provided our staff and patients with efficient, quick, hassle free access to their doctors and departments" said General Manager Fawzi Al Hamouri.

"We are proud to be the first hospital in the Arab region to have such a system and we are sure it will enhance our ability to serve our patients." VocalNet, a Jordanian company specialised in speech communications, provided the hospital with this application. "We are excited about the launch of this product in Jordan and hope to expand our business to other applications, sectors and other Arab Countries" General Manager Mohammad Zaidan said.
