MUSCAT -- Software Systems LLC (SSL), a subsidiary of the OHI Group of Companies recently organised a seminar on IBM Agile Enterprise Content Management at the Grand Hyatt Muscat recently. The main speaker at the seminar was Frederik Soendergaard-Jensen from IBM CEEMEA, Enterprise Content and Information Management.

The seminar was a highly focused round table, meant exclusively for the C-Level executives of various organisations in Muscat. As a leading software house in Oman, SSL has strengths in implementation of IBM Filenet Enterprise Content Management Solutions. The IBM FileNet ECM portfolio integrates business process management to improve business agility and effectiveness, serving up content in critical decisions. IBM FileNet ECM has been selected by Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Oman (TRA) for their content and document management needs. Aref al Zadjali -- Senior Representative of TRA said during the seminar that "TRA evaluated other ECM Solutions and selected IBM FileNet, as it manages and delivers content for excellent customer service, maximum workforce efficiency and profitable return on investment."

The event was a resounding success as it witnessed an encouraging turn-out from CIOs, CEOs, CFOs and similar executives from more than 30 government and semi-government organisations and companies. Detailed sessions on Agile ECM, Business Process Management, Compliance and Cost-Effective solutions were conducted to provide insights to the attendees on how IBM ECM can be used for all their content management needs and improving their core business processes to make cost-effective decisions.
