When we build infrastructures, roads, railways, bridges and residential areas, Surveyors are always involved. Their unique role and expertise in operating the latest technologies used in building and construction are beyond exceptional. We need to encourage the students and younger generations to pursue their career in Surveying. Students of today are technology oriented and therefore they will be more excited by the emerging technologies in surveying. We also need to develop the expertise of our current Surveyors and provide them with training courses and technical seminars which will provide them with international certifications and introduce them to the latest technologies and innovations in the surveying industry." Eng. Alan Barrow said: "This historic agreement builds on the unique knowledge and expertise that each organisation represents in different sectors of surveying. It establishes a framework whereby we can move forward through genuine co-operation and joint initiatives within the engineering community in the UAE."Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2013.
