DUBAI, Aug. 25th, 2010: Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Bint Juma'a Al-Maktoum, Wife of Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is sponsoring the Dar Al-Birr Orphanage's 5th annual celebrations, scheduled at the Dubai World Trade Center.
Member of the Board & Head of Charity Projects at Dar Al-Birr hailed the efforts of Sheikha Hind and her support for orphans, in line with the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (PBUP). He noted that the orphanage, which accommodates now 250 orphans in its headquarters in Dubai out of a total of 525 orphans nationwide, is also providing support for 22125 orphans in Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, Azerbaijan, Mauritania, Uganda, Nepal, Ghana and Senegal.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2010.
