MUSCAT -- Arabian Car Marketing Co, a part of the renowned Saud Bahwan Group, launched the T-Series range of transport refrigeration units. The event was held at Hotel InterContinental recently in the presence of Rainer Muhlschlegel, Director Middle East and Africa and Walid Sellami, Area Manager, Middle East and Africa of Thermo King.
Thermo King's new T-Series is the result of years of R&D and exhaustive testing. Built on the proven reliability of the TS and MD product ranges, the T-Series sets new industry standards for reliability, performance and efficiency. The range has been specially developed to exceed the customers' expectations when it comes to truck refrigeration.
The T-Series delivers greater capacities at lower operating speeds and allows for precise temperature control. Low operation and maintenance costs, as well as fuel saving technologies, ensures savings throughout the unit's life cycle.
The new and elegant looking units have an aerodynamic body with external panels made from Impact resistant, corrosion resistant and recyclable Geloy® engineered plastic and are fitted with removable side doors for easy service access.
All the T-Series truck refrigeration units are equipped with the new range of GreenTech engines from Thermo King. These engines drastically reduce emissions, waste and noise pollution, exceeding all known requirements, including the most stringent EU standards.
Easy system operation reduces the risk of user errors, while easy service and monitoring allow the unit to run at optimum efficiency at all times.
The new T-Series offers a host of features that are standard in all T-Series. These include Cycle-Sentry to stop the engine when refrigeration is not needed and restarting it when refrigeration or battery charge is needed, extended maintenance interval (EMI 2000), Thermo King high performance battery, two-year full warranty and the TherMax system to ensure faster defrost.
The TSR-2 in-cab interface is another standard feature offering simplified keypad to reduce the risk of incorrect operation of the system, visible set-point confirmation for load protection, enhanced temperature management, unit self-check for reduced down time, alarm codes for simplified troubleshooting and programmable features to tailor operating conditions to the load.
Thermo King also offers a range of accessories for temperature, fuel and unit management.
