MUSCAT -- As an organisation totally committed to national goals, Saud Bahwan Group had a distinct presence in the recently held Traffic Safety Expo, highlighting the group's emphasis on safety and roadworthiness.
According to a group spokesperson, "In line with the agenda of raising awareness about road and vehicular safety, we have tried to highlight various safety aspects of our vehicles with the aim of pointing out how they help prevent accidents. In fact, Toyota offers leading edge safety in its vehicle range and its innovative research and development initiatives translate into better automobiles creating an even safer ownership experience for customers."
At the Saud Bahwan Group stall there were innovative displays comprising illustrative panels and working models of safety features. Specially prepared brochure and reading materials were distributed freely to visitors in order to elevate public interest and awareness of the issue. Also on hand were knowledgeable Omani employees to explain about the various aspects regarding vehicular safety.
Some of the innovative displays included a cut-section of Toyota's High Impact Absorbing Body Structure which ably demonstrated how it protects the passenger compartment by absorbing majority of impact forces through front and rear section of the body in collision and distributing the remaining impact force through the entire frame.
In addition, a simplified working model of a basic automobile brake system components like brake pedal, master cylinder with booster assembly, front disc and rear brake drum fascinated the curious visitors. Also, by looking at the working model of SRS airbags and seatbelt pretensioners, visitors were able to get a basic idea of the operation of Toyota high-safety SRS airbags and seat belt pretensioner systems.
Observing the keen interaction between the visitors and the knowledgeable Omani staff manning the Toyota stall, a company spokesperson said, "This is yet another meaningful effort towards improving the aspect of road safety, enlightening people about the impact of road accidents on individuals, the society and the nation as a whole. We stand fully behind this effort and wish it success."
For over three decades, Saud Bahwan Group has endeavoured to bring in the world's best products into Oman. Supported it with service of an equal calibre and ensured that the ownership experience continues to be, "Together for a Safer Life."
