Reem Developers announced yesterday the completion of infrastructure works at Rawdhat in Abu Dhabi. The development is centred on a courtyard design and is married with Mediterranean, traditional and modern themes in a mixed use development spread over the 28 hectare site.
Chief Executive Officer of Reem Investments, Bambang Sugeng Bin Kajairi, said: "In line with our commitment to deliver our projects on time, we are delighted to have reached this key construction milestone in the development of Rawdhat, Abu Dhabi." Ewan Architectural & Engineering Consultancy is the master planner/lead consultants for the project. Hyder Consultants are undertaking the infrastructure engineering design while Haj Cost Consultants are the quantity surveyors.
NPC is the main contractor on the project and its specifications included a total of six km of roads, four km of sewer, six km of storm water lines, four km of telecommunication network (duct only), four km of gas, 22 km of HV and LV power distribution, six km of potable water, three km of irrigation lines as well as storage tanks and substations, according to Paul Major, Chief Executive Officer at NPC.
