DOHA: As Syria is witnessing political turmoil prompting Qatari investments in the country to be diverted elsewhere, businessmen in Qatar are looking increasingly towards Jordan as one of the most preferred investment destinations in the region.
DOHA: As Syria is witnessing political turmoil prompting Qatari investments in the country to be diverted elsewhere, businessmen in Qatar are looking increasingly towards Jordan as one of the most preferred investment destinations in the region.
Some Qatari investors have already routed investments in the real estate sector in Jordan and now, a high-level Qatari trade delegation is about to head to Amman to explore further investment avenues.
The Jordanian Chamber of Commerce said in a press statement on Tuesday that a huge trade delegation from Qatar is on its way and would be briefed on investment avenues in Jordan.
Gas exploration and production, real estate and power generation are some of the key areas the visiting delegation is to be familiarised with in Jordan, the Chamber said, according to Al Sharq.
