These are the new technologies that are 100 percent Qatar made under the "Smart Living Initiative" which were formally launched yesterday at La Cigale Hotel by Qatar University Wireless Innovation Centre (QUWIC).
"We don't deliver canned services because we make everything made in Qatar," said Abdulla Al Talib, Chairman of QUWIC Joint Management Committee, as he underscores that such new projects soon to be launched to the local market forms part of the national development initiative.

"These are the three branded initiatives we introduce not only in words but something you can touch and feel and see for yourself," Al Talib pointed out.
Dr Adnan Abu Dayya, QUWIC Executive Director, said the three market-minded innovations were the result of their two years of hard work to come out with a proudly locally made solutions and services in strategic areas like intelligent transportation, environment monitoring and digital content management and delivery.
"We have done our home work. We made a unique formula that touches the essence of local content," Abu Dayya said.
Abu Dayya and other QUWIC executives took turns in explaining during the gathering on how the three innovations works by letting the journalists and partners browse online using iPads and iPhones the applications which they said could be available in the local market in a few months.
"Masarak" which means "your path, your way" in Arabic is geared to deliver intelligent traffic services such as traffic and congestion monitoring, vehicle tracking, trip planning, dispatching, and intelligent fleet management.
