Rabat , Sept.8th, 2007(WAM)-- Princess Lalla Malika , Chairwomanof Moroccan Red Crescent praised the humanitarian efforts of sheikha Fatimabint Mubarak , the Honorary Chairwoman of the Red Crescent Authority RCA.

Princess Lalla sent a letter of gratitude to Sheikh Hamdan binZayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister ,Chairman of the RCA through theRed Crescent delegation for open heart surgery headed by Dr. Adel AlShamri, Acting secretary General of RCA, Head of the Medical Team in thepresence of Salim Saeed Al Mansouri, Charge' d'Affairs of the UAE to Morocco.

The princess asked the delegation to convey a message of lovefrom all women and men working in the humanitarian field in Morocco tosheikha Fatima bint Mubarak for her invaluable support of different projectsin all Arab and Islamic Worlds.

It is important to note that the medical team of RCA, which includesprofessors and doctors from the UAE , France, Egypt and South Africa,has done, within the past 4 days, 30 open heart and catheter operationsat Zayed and Ibn Sina Hospitals in Morocco .And it is expected that morethan 100 operations will be done besides training medical staffs thereon the latest developments in the field of heart disease treatment.
