TUNIS - The Popular Front (PF) is holding, on Tuesday afternoon, a meeting to look at the latest developments in the country, particularly regarding the government that has ended in a stalemate, Zied Lakhdhar, Secretary-General of the Unified Patriotic Democratic Party and leading figure in the PF Zied Lakhdhar told TAP on Tuesday.
Lakhdhar who blamed the Ennahdha party for "the failure of the national dialogue," stressed that "the opposition has met all its commitments and that its formerly withdrawn deputies have acted in a positive way to the progress of the national dialogue."
Secretary-General of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) Hassine Abassi said on Monday evening that the Quartet has decided to suspend the national dialogue and hold talks with political parties, from Tuesday, in an attempt to reach consensus on the name of the next PM.
