Tabriz, East Azerbaijan province - A group of people in Tabriz gathered in front of Azarbaijan Republic Consulate in this city Tuesday to protest against holding Eurovision Song Contest and a planned gay parade in Baku.
Tabriz, East Azerbaijan province - A group of people in Tabriz gathered in front of Azarbaijan Republic Consulate in this city Tuesday to protest against holding Eurovision Song Contest and a planned gay parade in Baku.
The protesters shouted slogans against the programs and expressed their hatred toward the planned parade of homosexuals in Baku.
Majlis deputy from Tabriz Mohammad Esmaeil Saeedi addressed the protesters and
expressed deep sorrow over such unseemly actions.
He called the action against human rights and said it hurts all Muslims' feelings and people of Tabriz express their disgust and hatred toward such anti religious measures.
