Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation, Rania El-Mashat, and the Executive Director of General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), Mohamed Abdel Wahab, witnessed the signing of an agreement between digital financial company Paynas and digital advertising firm E3lany.

Under the partnership agreement, various financial services will be provided to taxi drivers, including allowing them to advertise on their vehicles as an additional income stream, according to a cabinet statement on Wednesday.

Moreover, the deal involves providing funding services to renew taxis and instalment programmes to buy spare parts, in addition to offering cashless payment services.

More than EGP 1 billion worth of business is expected to be achieved in the first year under the deal.
