MUSCAT -- The 10-day shopping exhibition organised by OITE which opened on August 30 will end on September 8 at 11.30pm at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
Over 140 exhibitors and over 170,000 shoppers during the exhibition had much to talk about.
With only two days to go, the exhibitors have great bargain offers on a wide range of kids wear, leather garments, shoes and cosmetics, home appliances, crystals, furniture, perfumes, food items, electronics and accessories.
The Omani products pavilion at the event include perfumes from Al Diwaniya Perfumes LLC and Taqwa Perfumes, famous Mumtaz tea from National Tea Company LLC, computers and accessories from Windows 2000, detergents and other cleaning products from Al Ahlia Detergent Co. SAOG, quality textiles from Oman Textile Mills Co. LLC, water from Oasis Water and pure honey from Golden Bee.
Bin Ahmed Enterprises, Ayesh Namani, Abou Mohammed Trading, Al Zumaradh Trading Estate and Faisal Al Habsi Ent. are also amongst the others who are showcasing the well-known Omani products.
The exhibition opened on a promising note and well lived up to everybody's expectations. Past few days were busy for the exhibitors who were handling the swarming visitors from day one. The two full days dedicated to ladies and families were appreciated and were a major success with most goods in demand.
Mention must be made of the Malaysian and Thai products, which include exotic dry flowers, home decorating flowers and vases to name a few. Cambodian bakhour, which is popular among Omanis is also being sold at the exhibition.
Another stall, which is bound to attract attention, is a Pakistani stall selling marble products made of onyx stone. Cute-looking figurines of camels, kiwis, turtles, elephants besides bigger items like cup and saucer sets, lamp shades, vases and more all hand crafted are available here at reasonable prices.
Autumn Trade Fair is one of the largest fairs in the Sultanate of Oman and has achieved huge success since its inception. Many visitors who have been awaiting Autumn Trade Fair have expressed their happiness as the quality of the exhibition is not gone down over the years.
