MUSCAT -- Al Rimah Medical Centre is celebrating its 25th anniversary by launching a Special Complete Medical Check-up package at competitive rates targeted at all men and women aged 35 and above. This comprehensive package will help anticipate and prevent health problems before they actually cause clinical symptoms. Early diagnosis facilitates early treatment and easier prevention of complications, leading to better mental and physical fitness and an enhanced quality of life, the Centre said in a statement.
Al Rimah Medical Centre, a pioneer in private medical care in the Sultanate, is part of the Omzest (Omar Zawawi Establishment) Group of the Companies with interests in over 80 establishments spread over well-diversified businesses. Al Rimah was established with the aim of providing top quality outpatient medical service at reasonable prices. Its objective has been to provide comprehensive healthcare by a dedicated team of doctors and paramedical professionals, supported by excellent medical facilities. Al Rimah is also involved in specific Occupational Health and HSE aspects of various prestigious clients.
Al Rimah has facilities for all routine examinations and clinical procedures. The centre has portable ECG, Ambulatory BP monitoring, Treadmill for Stress ECG, Event Recorder for Arrhythmias test, Video EEG (Electroencephalogram), Computerised Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), Ultrasound -- General and Gynaec, Custom-made sound-proof Audiometry Booth, and Gastroscopy (Video Endoscopy). The X-ray department has a full time Radiologist and in addition to routine X-rays, contrast studies such as Barium Meal, Barium Enema, IVP and HSG are done regularly. In addition to large laboratories with state of the art equipment and experienced staff, Al Rimah also has a full-fledged physiotherapy division at the main clinic at Ruwi, equipped with the latest machines and two full time experienced physiotherapists.
