MUSCAT -- Oman Travel Market (OTM) Exhibition will open its doors to the one and only travel and tourism exhibition in the Sultanate on Tuesday through Thursday at the Oman International Exhibition Centre under the patronage of Abdullah bin Abbas bin Ahmed, Chairman of Muscat Municipality. Established in 2003 as the Discover Oman Exhibition, the event is organised by OITE as the Oman Travel Market since 2005. It is organised under the auspices of Ministry of Tourism and supported by Unesco.

OTM is a unique travel and tourism event in the Sultanate and will represent the real estate tourism, adventurous tourism, health tourism and the traditional tourism areas. The exhibition is organised in line with the developments taking place in the Sultanate's tourism industry. The rapid growth in the travel and tourism market in Oman has put this event in the spotlight and will include participants from hotels, resorts, airlines, travel and tour operators, health centres and providers of other tourism related services.

The visitors can access various avenues of holiday and health destinations besides the travel offers the airlines have to offer.  Oman Air, Gulf Air, Qatar Airways, Golden Tulip Hotels Inns and Resorts/Flamingo Hotels Management Company and Premium Health Solutions are the sponsors of the event. The prominent exhibitors include: Al Ahlia Insurance, Al Bustan Palace, Al Nahda Resort and Spa, Bangkok Hospital Medical Center, Egyptian Tourist Authority, Etihad Airways, India Tourism, Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Indonesia, Ministry of Heritage and Culture, Oman National Transport Co SAOC, Oman Post, Oman Tourism Projects Development Co LLC and Promo Oman LLC. The exhibition will have a destination seminar alongside the event on Wednesday.
