Algeria will soon enact laws to protect children in cyberspace, newly appointed ICT Minister Moussa Benhamadi announced Tuesday (June 1st) in Algiers.

In a speech marking International Children's Day, Benhamadi said Algerie Telecom also plans to help parents supervise their children's use of the internet by offering security software. Benhamadi replaced Telecommunication Minister Hamid Bessalah last Friday as part of the Algerian cabinet reshuffle.
